Terbinafine belongs to the group of antifungal agents: it works by destroying the fungus that causes skin disorders. It is used in treatment of: tinea pedis, tinea cruris and tinea corporis. It is also used to treat skin yeast infections, such as candidiasis and pityriasis versicolor.
