Rumalon solution for intramuscular injection (mixture of extract of bone marrow and extract of costal cartilage, ampoules of 1/2 ml)
Rumalon is a glycosaminoglycan-peptide complex obtained from the costal cartilage and bone marrow of young calves. Glycosaminoglycan-peptide complex influences the disturbed metabolism of cartilage. It enhances the biosynthesis of sulfated mucopolysaccharides. It stimulates the regeneration of articular cartilage and inhibits catabolic effects on cartilage.
Rumalon is indicated for the treatment of rheumatic degenerative disease: coxarthrosis, gonarthrosis, spondylosis, spondylarthritis, interphalangeal arthrosis, meniscopathy, chondromalacia patellae.
