Elfunat - solution for injection 50 mg/ml (emoxipinum (ethylmethyl-hydroxypyridine succinate), ampoules 2 ml, no. 5)
Antioxidant drug with anti-hypoxic, membrane-protective, nootropic, anticonvulsant and anxiolytic effects, increasing the resistance of body to stress. The drug increases the resistance of body to the effects of various damaging factors and oxygen-dependent pathological conditions (shock, hypoxia and ischemia, stroke, intoxication with alcohol and antipsychotics / neuroleptics).
The drug is indicated for acute cerebrovascular accident, traumatic brain injury (consequences of traumatic brain injury), dyscirculatory encephalopathy, disorders of autonomic nervous system, mild cognitive disorders, somatoform autonomic dysfunction and other neurotic disorders, primary open-angle glaucoma (in the complex therapy), relief of alcohol withdrawal syndrome with a predominance of neurosis-like and vegetovascular disorders, acute intoxication with antipsychotics, acute purulent inflammation of the abdominal cavity (acute pancreatitis, peritonitis) in the complex therapy.
