Ambroxol is indicated as adjunctive therapy in chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with abnormal mucus secretion and impaired mucus transport in acute bronchial disease and acute episodes of chronic pulmonary and bronchial asthma, bronchiectasis, and sinusitis.
